You are right. Rode about 450 miles of interstate over memorial day weekend, round trip to Winder GA from Birmingham to visit family. So nice to kick over to that 6th cog on the highway, not to mention the extra power and comfort from an altogether bigger bike. Despite having the 96 instead of the 103, kept up with highway traffic no problem, 70+ mph with room to pass. Torque is great on this bike. Not that the bike lacks any power but since I like to tinker it will be great to learn more about engine mods from you guys, like what is worth doing and what sucks. All is new to me.
Its just stock so just a blank canvas compared to many of the bikes here, but will try and post some pictures soon. Its at the shop now getting its 1000 mile service.
