The front mounting plate for the seat has slotted holes so you prob have 1/2 inch of play to move it around where you like.

thanks
I would say it moves you forward, oh, perhaps an inch and up at least an inch. I'm 5'9 and find the position very comfy with the forward controls.

I have wanted to do this. Do you have any close up pics of the seat and under it? I want to see how clean the set up looks. I have not seen the set up in person.

These do come up used from time to time; I got mine off the classifieds section here for less than than half the new price, shipping included.

I really like your spring seat, can you take a closeup pic? I want to see how the bottom of the seat looks, is everything under the seat covered nicely?

Yeah, the seat itself isn't too bad. But the hardware is more than the price of the seat.

It seems to me that if you have any fabbing skills at all, you could make some of the pieces and only have to buy the springs.

BTW, it looks great and thanks for the pic, it gave my GF an idea of what I wanted to do for mine. She liked it.
