Default Slow speed wobble....weird

Never had this before. Took my hands off the bars to adjust sleeve zippers, as the bike decelerated it began to wobble. I have done this many times before with no such problem. Only thing different is a I added a tour-pak a few days ago.

Take off the tour pak and see if still have the wobble. Maybe its adding too much weight on the rear wheel and loosening up the front.

Think about the changes you made. Many wobbles are caused by upsetting the percentage of weight the front and rear wheel each have. When you lighten the load on the front by adding a pack or passenger it lessens the load on the front wheel and the low speed wobble can occur. Same with a truck, load the bed with firewood and the steering becomes light and the front end will float. Fairings, new mirrors etc all affect the balance of weight on a motorcycle and this can lead to wobbles. Of course you need to remember that the touring models and Dynas are rubber mounted and have more problems with handling issues than the Softails which are less susceptible to such problems. Just speaking from my personal experience so please don't get upset.

Harleypr made a great analogy about a pickup loaded with firewood. Maybe what you added was just enough weight to 'tip the balance' in percentages. Maybe play with rear-tire air-pressures or add equal weight (tool-bag) to the front will be a cure.
