Default Dyna short shift rod
Anyone have any clever ideas for a cool shift rod (linkage) for a Dyna with mid controls? I have an 07 and all I've ever seen is the polished one Harley sells for $$$. Thanks!

The cheap little ball joints in the stock linkage will eventually fail. I made a new linkage out of rod ends (heim joints) bought on ebay, and threaded rod. I covered the exposed section of the threaded rod with black shrink tube and it looks pretty cool. Nothing fancy but that's what makes it look cool. The whole thing cost maybe $10-$15. If you're interested, I'll post a photo of it.
