Won't be a a problem, we have a sundowner and sissybar and have done a couple of 1,000 mile trips.

How far have you traveled in the past? If you are used to around town, that would be a problem for you and the OL, not the bike.
It looks like you have a windscreen. That will help A LOT!
Weather protection gear?
