chrome spark plug covers

chrome spark plug covers

wadda all think about those chrome spark plug covers the hd ones that cover the whole plug and head bolts would u think those would trap heat around the spark plug the reason im asking is i have them on my engine and have recently been noticing detonation i will be removing them and see if that helps just wanted to know if anyone else had experinced this while using these

I"ve had them on my bike for a year now and just love them,I haven't noticed anything different at all regarding what your experiencing.

yea i love the looks of them too just trying to elimenate a few things

Used to have them on the bike, I just have the head bolt covers now. I think todays gas and the recent heat we've been having is contributing to the slight pinging.
