"Lurker" No More!!!
FINALLY after about a year and a half of lurking and researching, I purchased my ("New" to ME) '07 Street Bob - "Bria"...First Harley/First BIKE!!! I looked at the Iron 883 for a long while, but knew I would soon want to upgrade. Following the advice of someone on a Sportster forum after sitting on a 'Bob at the motorcycle show in Chicago (Rosemont), I knew that the Street Bob FELT like a better "fit" to me! Figure I will NOT be speeding anytime soon, so I can "learn" as I go over time on this bike. My 20 mile ride home was "interesting" with several take off - stall outs, but I made it home and have been riding and IMPROVING for the past week.
Now comes the DREADED part - resisting the "MOD" urge until the WINTER!
Bike CAME with a nice set of Pipes & Progressive shocks, so I don't have to purchase those, but R6C 14" Apes & Joker machine A/C may be some LATE riding season upgrade(s). Hopefully the (sales ad) pics show up.
