You shouldn't need any wiring extension for 12's. I have 16's internally wired. No extension. Could probably go up to 18's same deal

 

Yeah I poked around under the tanks and seat and I will have plenty of wire to run internally. I just need to order all the cables and then I'm in business. I ended up getting the 12" narrow burly apes, look great and my hands are just a bit below my shoulders.

Absolutely will. It will be a couple weeks until I have the cash for the cables though. I'll try and get some pics today of just the bars mocked up.
