I love the look of the street bob stock bars. I am 5' 9' would they be comfortable for a long haul? Which is more comfortable, the superglide bars or the streetbob's?

That's for you to tell rej.
I like the 06WGmini apes that I put on my 06 SuperGlide.
At first I wasn't so sure. Really like em now.
The stock bars were out of position for me.
Rent or borrow the machine with bars you think might work for you.
Bars are definately an individual preference thing. Some people like drag bars & some people hate them. I like my 06 Street Bob bars. I had the same ones on my old bike. There are tons of people hate them though since they think they're too small/low for their arms. Sometimes just re-angling them changes peoples comfort and thus their mind. You should definately check/test them out if you can. Sit on other people's bikes (with their permission of course) and put your arms up. Some shops even have handlebar trees where you can get an idea of what they're like. Good luck!
While you are at it, if you like the stock bob bars you may as well check out the softail custom bars. I'm not sure but they may be exactly the same. They are a lot like the mini-apes that come on the WGs now. The big difference there is that the WG bars are fatter for internal wiring. Also, if you are looking at the WG bars, please note that the stock WGs are different from the Mini Apes that are listed for $199 in the HD catalog. I think you can get a set of WG stock (06-07) bars for about $149. Be sure to read about the rumored recall on 06 WG bars.
