it needs a small fender and different headlight, but its not bad
I had not even noticed the headlight before...maybe because at first glance it does not appear to have one.
I do not see how it is street legal with that headlight setup, to be DOT approved the headlight has to be minimum 4.5" in diameter. I discovered this when I was considering fabricating a custom setup for mine.
I'm not a fan of the headlight (or the pipes) but I like the no fender look. Not very practical though. I have a hardtailed CB750 that I rode for a while with no fenders, actually got caught in the rain with it once. It has a rear fender now...
Fat Bobs are one of those bikes that I'm not a big fan of stock but can look really cool when modified a bit.
I like it. I was wanting to do a similar mod to the rear end of my fat bob, but I was planning on having a rear fender that mounted to the swing arm similar to the fat bob that was built by Boosted Brad:
I doubt I could ever have the cajones to do something like that to my only bike but the chop was done very clean. Had nice black inserts where the struts used to be.
