if you get error code P0108...
Check your breather tubes coming off the air cleaner... The bike threw that code up yesterday and by sheer luck i noticed a split at the top of the tube. Cut off 1/4", reattached, cleared code, all good (for now).
Yup. No way for the bike to know if they are connected or not. My holes in the back of my breather plate are blocked and the hoses from the breather bolts are routed to a T fitting and then to the ground.
hhmmm.... i assumed that the MAP Sensor somehow detected wrong amount of air or preasure or something.. isn't this all related to the overall fuel/air combustion mix?
I went for a 3 hr ride after I fixed the tube and cleared the code but maybe I am adding 2 + 2 and getting 5.... i'll keep monitoring then....
any other obvious reasons for P0108 to pop up then... one of the tune configs needs adjusting?? I am using an Arlen Ness Big Shot which isn't very sophisticated.

Mine kept popping up from time to time. No set pattern or situation. When it did, I'd notice a lot more popping in the exhaust during decel., and I loose a mile or two per gal. om my milage.
I mentioned it to my mechanic and, he said next time it occured, bring it in (witout clearing the code).
Just so happened one day as I was near the shop, it popped up so, I dropped by. He put the digital scanner on it and said "you got a bad MAP sensor" to me and I immediatly replied; Duh Huh!
20 Min. later and a hundred somthin' dollars later.....no worries. It's been a few months now....No more codes.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes....Tim(HT)

Had a similar situation...
a month ago I had my MAP sensor replaced due to error code P0108
code came back last week in the middle of a 1600 mile ride, and bike was running terrible.
Local dealership could not find the problem (big surprise)
Finally, as I tore into the bike a little bit, I noticed that one of the mounting bolts on my Arlen Ness air cleaner was sorta loose, which is directly related to the engine breather. I tightened it last night, rode 50 miles with no issues, no error code. Rode 30 miles today, no issues, no error code.
Let's hope we're both right.
