if you get error code P0108...
2016 Street Bob, based in North Texas and just got back from a 3 day run into Arkansas. Over Mt Magazine and on Pig trail, noticed idle hung up for a few seconds a couple of times rolling up to a stop and more decel popping than normal. I wasn’t too concerned as overall performance really didn’t degrade, and thought that the change in altitude was responsible. When we got home, I pulled codes and P0108 showed up. Had a look at electrical diagnostic manual for P0108 MAP sensor diagnostics:IAC, first para states: “The MAP sensor is supplied 5V from the ECM terminal 9 and sends a signal back to the ECM terminal 7. This signal varies in accordance with engine vacuum and atmospheric barometric pressure. Changes in barometric pressure are influenced by weather and altitude.”
I cleared the code and will continue riding, if the code shows up again I’ll investigate further.
I’m thinking/hoping the code showing up without any others is the system reporting a momentary change in defined parameters rather than a real problem.
