So I just bought a 2012 Dyna Wide Glide and I'm wanting to make her perr. I looking into V&H shortshots or big radius but I was told I also have to buy a programmer and a high flow air breather? Is this true. Also what are some good slips on out there? Thanks!

Yes you will need a programmer and a high flow intake...if the dealer does all the mods...its about 2.5k for exhaust, intake and programmer installed after all is said and done
Your labor is low if they are installing everything. 2500 sounds about right all said and done and installed by dealer.
If you installing everything yourself except the tuner, your prices below are right on. I would figure.......
Pipes 500-1000
A/C 100-500
Tuner/programmer 300-800
Dyno Tune 300-500 (if needed, depends on tuner auto or not)
Plus installation costs if you have them do it.

$700 for pipes.

$200 for intake
$400 for labor / dyno
I have a 2011 Super Glide with V&h 2-1 Pro Chrome and high flow air cleaner. Bike runs great, plugs look fine and no overheating issues. Your ECM will keep the air to fuel ratio at 14.7:1 no matter what pipes or air you give it. Granted this is factory lean, but with a set of XIED's you'll have an AFR of 13.7 and unless you are looking for every ounce of available torque and HP this is all you need.
The XEID's do a good job for the money but in no way does it come close to what a properly set up tuner will do for your bike. It's not just about squeezing out every last horsepower, it's about your bike running the best it can....even when just cruizing. So you dropped close to 20K for your bike and want to save 800 and have it run ok....well that's your choice. Until you do it right, you will never know just how good it can be..Your bike, your choice
