Better fuel mileage after build?

I have been keeping close track of fuel mileage over the past month or so, I have been averaging 36-38 mpg constantly. Not bad I'd say for my build, however the bike got **** poor fuel mileage before when it was stock motor. I got around 32-34mpg which I'd say is bad for a stock TC88.

Seems crazy, but I don't know if it is because of a proper tune, or the programmable ignition along with the HSR carb, but it runs much better and I'm putting less fuel in it as well, not to mention the extra power.

I'll get lop-sided mileage like that with my 103 stg II - higher mileage if I'm behaving, much lower if I'm really bootin' around.

If you had been keeping track of it all the time you'd know, for sure, what difference the mods made. I keep a record of all fill ups in a pocket-sized log book so i can keep accurate track of my fuel consumption.
