Default Spp oil filter reviews?
Well it's almost time for my 5 k oil change and I seen the SPP filter in Hot Bikes magazine. It is cleanable/reusable. Has anyone used this filter? Does it work? How do you clean it?

Im not expert but i see its good to 25 microns while a typical oil filter for harleys is rated to 5 microns.

I don't know how much of a difference it is but ill stick to the 15$ 5 micron tried and true filter.

To me it's easier to replace it that to mess with cleaning one of these. For me it's not cost effective either, I use my Harley chrome cash to buy oil filters, usually 3-4 at a time.

Ditto, do yourself a favor and stick to the 5 micron filter

5 microns is a good bit smaller than 25. I wouldn't use a 25 micron filter on a twin cam. Stick to the Harley 5 micron filter and avoid trouble.
