I like springers on rigid frame bikes. I like my dynas non springer. Here is a pic of my old santee frame shovel. The springer is from jerry's springers out of florida. I really liked the look of it and it rode pretty damn good.
Thanks it was a fun little bike. Super light. Kick only, had a head light and tail light and that was it. Came on hard times and had to let it go. Maybe ill come upon it again sometime
Ok so the ONLY thing stopping me fromthe conversion at this point is the brakes. Doea anyone know if yu can have dual disc up fron on the paucho springers? They are at a really good price now and now is the time to do it if any of you are considering it. But anyway,I as well as a bunch of you know that dual disc up front take WAYYYYY less finger effort to stop the bike.In fact My brother has the same bike but with only single disc, i dont like it one bit!
I'm wondering if the springers just cant take the brunt force on the forks of the front brakes is why they are only single? I guess I need to call and ask them...
Having ridden since the '60's; I know the springer was discontinued in '49, the rear shocks came out in '58 and the Wide Glide is to remind us what an FLH looked like stripped but still with the "wide" glide trees...a springer on a Dyna looks like wooden spoke wheels on a Mustang...just not right to me, sorry.
