need help with VIN!

need help with VIN!
okay... working on a friend's harley.... all he told me was that it was a wide-glide ....says it's an '01 or '02....he can't remember year he bought it... and i just won't start tearing into a bike if i don't know what's in front of me.... i told him not to worry because i'll just run the VIN
well i'll be damned if i can find anything on this bike.... i know it's a 2002 wide-glide with a carbed TC88....and that might be all i need to know
but as i try running the VIN, what seems to be holding me up is the "PEV" in the VIN
battery says FXDWG3 on the side
any help would be appreciated....thanks!

yah i just figured it out.... my local dealer was closed yesterday, but just got off the phone with them
apparently the bike is quite rare....it's a CVO wide glide "switchblade" ....black with flames ....only 700 or so made
damn.... i don't think my friend knows just what he has

just got off phone with friend ..... truly did not know what he had... and really doesn't seem that excited.... just a bike for him to ride, i suppose
me and a few other guys are trying desperately to convince him to put it away and to just get another bike to ride..... his only has 14k on it
