FXDC to FXD Tank Swap, Possible?
I have seen posts of FXD to FXDC tank swap. I was wondering if anyone has done the oppisite FXDC to FXD swap, and if it is possible. I have a 2009 FXDC and I like the tank on the FXD, I am considering doing a tank swap. The only problem I can see is moving ignition back to the fork. If anyone could help out I would appreciate it.

Forum member 8541hog did a WideGlide to FXD tank swap ... I am thinking you could do it with a Super Glide Custom ... on his, he modded the stock FXD console he installed to keep the key on the dash ... you might PM him to see if he can pass you some info on how he did it ...

For what its worth.. I think just about all dyna tanks can be swapped with some amount of doing..

I've got the full tank setup from my 08 fxd from when I put a wide glide tank on mine a couple months ago. PM me and I'll give you a good deal if you want.
