Well i 've been enjoying the my new bike the past couple of days but the wind trying to pull my legs open and me fighting it has the inside of my legs pretty sore lol. What kind of controls would you put on to help with the wind blast?
You don't need to modify your bike. You need to start working out. You'll get used to it.
Yeah i been riding in a comfortable F-250 to long and its made me soft, no doubt the wind will toughen a man up I am thinking i need to add some 2-3" extensions to my existing controls so i can stretch out and be a little more aerodynamic. I think that would help some, maybe.

LOL!
@ RFC
If you are very tall and your legs jus won't close you will need extended forward controls.
I learned with time and just yesterday I was speaking with a guy who does the same thing. Instead of holding your feet down on the pegs which really just helps them blow off the pegs making you force more, push your legs forward against them. It will become a habit and soon you won't even notice. I have ordered tripple trap pegs , check them out @ DKcustoms, talk to Kevin (site sponsor).
If you have mid controls forget this and think about the forwards.
I have a 2012 Fat Bob with forwards. Just updated my sig but it hasn't kicked in yet for some reason. Anyway im 6'3 with a 34+ inseam and i do need to strech out a little more when cruising at 55mph or more. I'll check out those Triple Traps, thanks for the lead.
i'm 6'3" with a 34" inseam. I have 3" extended forward controls & still have this problem but only over 70 mph. I ride everyday & have done so for years and my legs still get sore right at the pelvic joints from the wind pushing them out.
I'm going to try stirrups to see if that will remedy the situation

Did wonders for me! I love the Airfoil Heel Rests I got. It makes it easier to hold my legs closer to the tank.
