I've been just looking at posts here for a couple of years, but it was about time I started my own thread.
Does anybody have suggestions for the "shaved" rear fender look on a street bob? I want to get the sausage light off of there and I'm deciding how I want to get rid of the mounting holes that will remain. Anything other than a bondo/new paint solution?
I've seen quite few post with this question. Some of it will depend on what kind of seat you ride -- solo or two-up? I think I'm going to have the hole from the light filled and smoothed down. I had also considered just covering the hole left with a custom piece from http://www.emblemart.com/chromeemblems.html. I've seen some pretty badass SB's on here. Just swim through some on the posts, there's an infinite amount of ideas on her-
Does anyone make emblems that fit these holes that isn't a H-D logo or anyone else's logo that is made out of real metal? Can't put another logo on my bike, I've been taking as many off as possible but it is a futile task.
