Default Question?

I installed the 11 inch Progressive 412's on my 2011 Super Glide Custom and it dropped the rear end an inch or so. My question, Is there enough room to install the HD Wide Tire Kit?

There should be. I can't say 100% because I have not done it but with 11" progressives and a 170 tire, there seems to be plenty of clearance.

The wide glide and Super Glide Custom share the same rear rim and I was told a 180 would fit with out the wide tire kit .
Wide Glide tire Size - Rear – GT502 180/60B17 75V
Wide glide rim size - Rear - 17 in. x 4.5 in. (432 mm x 114 mm)

Super Glide Custom rim size -Rear 17 in. x 4.5 in. (432 mm x 114 mm)

You installed 1.5" shorter shocks and only dropped an inch? I think stock FXDC shocks are 12.5". They were on my '08 anyway.

I've got 12" HD Progressives and that dropped the *** an inch, because of the shock angle. I would actually be a bit concerned about clearance between the apex of the tire and the fender... cause you're dropping it more than the shock length.

I run a 170, ... my opinion a 180 won't give ya much more than being able to say you're running a 180.

OEM was a 12" shock, I think they went from 12.5 to 12 inch in 2010
