Default Wiring.......!!!!!!

OMG...... I forgot how bad I hate wiring! I just did my wideglide conversion on Saturday, but procrastinated on cutting, mrouting and soldering all the wiring that had to go through the new upper triple clamp!

To make matters worse, I dropped a nice hot blob of solder on my GD foot! Looks pretty good though, just need to buy some form of cable loom or cold shrink.

Anybody got any suggestions or experience with covering wires for a factory finishing touch?

You could have saved yourself a lot of trouble if you read the 100+ threads here that talk about disassembling the connectors vs cutting and soldering them.

I use heat shrink on my stuff and it looks pretty good.

If you took the connectors off you would has just had the ends of the wires to run through. It's plenty big for that. I didn't say disconnect the connectors, I said disassemble. Regardless, you should look it up. It's in the service manual and there are how to's on the forum. It'll save you time and effort in the future.
