Nice work! We have been making these for quite a few years. When we first tested them, they are pretty slippery without some texture.
We have them available in HD Wrinkle Black and in a textured Brass colored powdercoat.
Something with some texture will make a big difference.
Looking good!
You stole my idea!!! no really though I didnt mean to steal your product at all. You guys dont sell Iron cross pegs do you? If so I'm quiting this whole home made thing haha.
I know a guy who lives right down the road who does powdercoating he did some wrinkle black for me before I think that is what I will end up having him do on these. I pasti-dipped them last night and its working well so far but it wont last very long.

lol
Nothing stolen...people have been making knuckle pegs for decades. Some of the stuff we make is patented...these are NOT one of those items. I say more power to anyone who makes their own stuff...that is how we got started...just making parts for our own bikes and friends bikes.
We used to make some Iron Cross pegs...they are discontinued. We are working on a new Iron Cross peg, but it will be early next year before it is released.
Yep, we plasti-dipped some other style pegs just to see what they would look like...they looked great, but only lasted less than an hour of riding before they started peeling.
PC is the way to go, and some sort of textured PC for pegs like the knuckles.
These were made on an Omax Waterjet. Pretty simple machine but very neat.
Water jets are pretty nice. One of my uncles has one at his business but I don't think they make as nice a cut as a finely tuned plasma setup. It probably has something to do with the abrasive in the water. But, then again there may be different abrasives that you can use for finer cuts.

Very true. The cuts are not as clean as using a laser Ive never ran a Plasma table but I'm guessing it is really clean with alot less deburring. We cut tons of copper, stainless, and poly/fiberglass so the waterjet is the best for the job.

DK what do you guys use to cut all your products?
We use a laser for the knuckles, and most of our parts. Some parts we use a waterjet.
We also have a tumbler, no matter how nice a cut you get from a laser or a waterjet, a tumbler will make it better.
