Wish me luck folks...

Richmond Superbike is the Place to Go.... 5014 WIlliamsburg Road, see Joey.... but if your under warranty go to Steel Horse Harley 11501 Hull Street Road, the Service Writer is William, good dude. Stay away from Departure Bikeworks, they tried to scam me on a repair and the Street says if they don't know ya, they'll rip ya.

And hit Poe's Pub...Motor Friendly, if you see a plate out front that says FXD.. it's me.

Well, I'm here in Richmond (right by the airport). The bike ran fine all the way here (well, as good as it is running at the moment as I need to do some fine tuning since I put the cams in, but that's a story for another time). I check in and jump on the bike to move it to a parking spot by the window of the room I'm staying at and...
...I go to start it and it cranks but won't start, at first I'm thinking spark but I immediately realize the fuel pump isn't kicking on. I pulled the fuse cover off and heard the one big black thing next to the one big white one that looks the same (fuel pump relay I hope) buzzing...
Please tell me it's as simple as that!

OK, I just went out to the bike. I pulled the relays and put the starter relay into the system relay slot and sure enough, the fuel pump primed. So, now to find this relay.

Do you guys think the dealer will have it in stock? Hey JonV, do you think Superbike might have it? They are walking distance from my location. I read I might even be able to pick one up at the local auto parts store.

Thoughts?

depending on the relay you might be able to get one form an auto parts store and usually the dealer will carry little things like that and since its walking distance i would be goin there now to get you back on the road and i might suggest picking up 2 just so you have the spare if this happens again for some odd reason

Hey guys, The is a dealer about 20 miles away that has one. Takin' a cab would have been like 60 or 70 round trip I'm betting, I just rented a car for 45 and I have the thing for 24 hours if needed...
Going to pick it up now...
Thanks again for all the help!
