Love the FXDXT and would want the mid controls too even though Id look like an ogar riding a kids bike. ;-) congrats, what I wouldnt give to have another project sitting in garage!! lucky man
My first post here and it is nice to find other T-Sport Cult members around here!!!
Funny but back in 2002 I had never planed on switching from my old BMW to a HD... Then when dating a girl who wanted a Sportster we went to the local HD dealer and when I walked in there was a blacked-out Dyna Sport model...I was in LUST... The salesman could probaly tell he had an easy sell...but...it had no fairing and no bags... "No problem" he says...and whips out a catalog and shows me the T-Sport...now I am dead....
Told my neighbor I was thinking about selling the BMW and he just said "name your price"....and it was gone. Problem was at the time...August 2002...there were no black T-Sports to be found anywhere on the east coast... So instead I almost bought a Road King but at the last minute cancelled the deal and just kept searching for the elusive Black-T.... Finally found one at a gray-market dealer on Long Island and was able to trace back the title to the original HD dealer to get my warranty signed off on...
J...I think you will be happy with the T over the Bagger....no regrets here...
That was a beautiful King, but your Dyna is a much sportier feeling ride and I know you will enjoy the change. I went from a Road Glide to a Dyna Custom, and couldn't be happier with the move. tomp dd50
sad to see her go but at least u got a sweet t-sport to put that smile back on your face...
Yeah man, and already collecting parts. Hahaha

Wow that really was a great looking RK. I'd love to cruise around on one of those sometime.. New projects are hard to argue with though, congrats on your T sport.
There was some mis-communication with the dealer and shipper.
Bike was supposed to be here on Monday.
Today me and a buddy went to the shipper, I paid them, then went up the road to the warehouse and literally rode it right out of the warehouse back to my work.
Felt great, runs great, glad to be back in the saddle.
