Great post and big help to me as I am in final stages to buying either a fat bob or victoryjackpot.and will want a fly shield.
if you want to hit the "jackpot" get the Dyna. Or hit the other Vjackpot with a baseball bat.
The 100$ or so Flyscreen was one of the best benefit/cost items I have on my bike.
I really like the fat bob it rode very well. Have not checked out victory in person but JP looks nice. This fly shield sounds like the way to go. Thanks for your input it helps

Yeah, thanks for the thread and the reports. Every conventional fairing I've ridden behind drove me crazy with buffeting, winds coming from bizarre directions, or strange ear-hammering noises that sounded like I'd inserted a "woman's pleasurizer" in my ear.
That might be OK for a few people under some circumstances, but even my 'ol lady hated it.
If anyone is interested, I'll be posting one for sale in the classifieds. It's a National Cycle Flyscreen N2531. It was only on the bike for about 200 miles. The set of rubber strip gaskets is unused. PM me if interested.
I also loved the way it worked, but ended up getting bored with the way the bike looked, and redoing the entire bike in a different style.
