Maybe that's it.... Still doesn't seem as bulky as others. The headlight looks equal in size to the one on my narrow glide, relative to the fairing.
I dunno.... Good work anyway, bike looks right.

Lol nice. I raised mine 5" to get a look I liked without trimming

The "narrow" Ness fairing looks killer on a modern 49mm mid-glide front end. You just have to be responsible for making it fit, and getting your headlight in the right place. I haven't found any detailed write-ups on exactly how to do it, but a number of folks have made it work. clamps->bracket->fairing(trim) & relocate headlight.

edit: BTW SouthEast customs has done it very recently, saw Rick's pics on facebook

Mines the newer bolt on ness for 49mm front ends, defiantly bulkier than the narrow glide or the wide glide ness fairings. I was going to get rid of it for a t sport fairing but it really grew on me

Maybe that's why mine looks skinny it's an old wideglide fairing not the new one that co
Ed with the mounts for the 49mm

Okay, theory confirmed, I want the narrow glide Ness for my Mid Glide SG. I knew I had seem some that looked kinda bulky, and that's what I was trying to avoid. So should I be looking for the one that fits the Sportster, or the one that fits early WideGlides?
