I've been checking the websites regularly, called a couple times, they're always on order. I've had my email in their database for about a month, still no luck. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has ever owned a skid lid slim helmet and if they are at all similar to the Outlaw low profile. I'd love to hear about them, surprised in this economy I can't find a company who wants my money for the Outlaw helmet.
I have a helmet coming from Canada, but I just wanted to let forum users know that leatherup.com has the Outlaw ultra low profile carbon fibers back in stock!
so is this the low profile helmet that does not make your helmet look like a melon? I thought they ran out? Whats the first 2 or 3 letters in the product number for the low profile?
The item #'s on Leatherup for the Ultra Low Profile Carbon Fiber (non-mushroom head) helmets are TG-50010 (Glossy Black), TG-50030 (Matte Black), and AX-30020 (Rosewood). They're all in stock and 10% off. I've had mine for about a year and love it. Just ordered a spare.

I have a D.O.T. Skidlid half helmet. It is a huge mushroom is not comfortable and very unusually heavy. I also have a low profile fiberglass outlaw helmet it is not the same as the ultra slim ultra low profile helmets but is way trucking better, slimer, lighter, then anything else Ive used in a half helmet style
I just got my half helmet from Crazy Al's @ bikerleathers.ca and it definitely eliminates the mushroom head from my HD half helmet. Although it's fiberglass and cost more than the Outlaw I'd wanted, I'm more than happy with it. I can always get a carbon later. I'm sure they won't last too long before they report being out of stock again.
