Braided Fuel Crossover
Walked into the garage this morning and saw my bike standing in a puddle of gas! The garage was loaded with fumes from the gas but thankfully it wasn't ignited by my water heater or refrigerator compressor kicking on! Luckily I had some 1/4" hose laying around and was able to drain the tank before heading out to buy a couple of clamps. So heads up to all you who have or are thinking of using this part, don't do it! I put that HD Braided Stainless Steel Fuel Crossover Line (63690-00A) on a little over a year ago!

this happened to me 3 days after installing it. i wasnt careful with the seals. after getting new ones and reinstalling the lines i paid much more attention to installing the seals right.

Are you sure it wasn't the clamp? Factory clamp is garbage, I replaced them with screw hose clamps when I first got the bike. I have zero problem with my crossover hose, I do install a quick connect for easy gas tank re and re.
