Default Dyna Highway Bars

Does anybody have Highway Bars on their Dyna? My son is thinking about putting some on his bike, what style did you put on your bike, and are you happy with your decision.

I have the H-D bars. Got them used on eBay for $50 and couldn't be happier. Though they are attached at the bottom with U-bolts, it is an amazingly sturdy piece.

I dont have the full highway bars on mine- i went with the adjustable pegs/ mounts that HD sells. I like em. Taken a few longer rides with them (300 mi) this summer and no complaints. I have them in the closer position( I'm 5'10")

I have the Lindby Multi-bar on mine and just love it. My right knee does have to lean a little against the Heavy breather when I put my feet up. It has saved my bike from a few scratches already. Here's a few pictures, hope this helps.

I've got the Bikers Choice bar. Bolted right up (no clamps). I love it.

Lindby bars on my '03 LR. I look upon them as being a necessary evil. Very strong/protective. Do I like them? Installed over a year ago.....Yes-No. I've tried finding OE bars that came on the police version of the '03 LR, but gave up.

Mine had them on when I bought the bike but I took them off and replaced them with the adjustable highway pegs. I didn't care for the look. I also do not like the fact that it is mounted through the top hole on the frame. If it takes a good hit it will protect the motor but will bend the mounting tab on the frame. If this happens your insurance company will likely total the bike because of frame damage, they will not repair a frame. It is stupid but it happens, ask me how I know.
