Made a huge mistake!
So I have an 09 Iron that I have done a lot of work to and I was thinking of doing a 1250 conversion with heads and cams. Before I jumped in my buddy said, demo a dyna first. Well, today I made the mistake of listening and demo'd a 2012 Street Bob and Switchback. Now I can say that I have been spoiled after tasting the dark side. The Bob was very nice but man, that Switchback was amazing! The ride home wasn't nearly as fun as it would have been prior to knowing what I am missing. My Iron will never be the same and now I have to find me a Dyna I can afford.

Well better than the wife catching you with the baby sitter. Would still cost you about the same. There is no such thing as an affordable Dyna, you will spend more money on accessories and stuff to make it yours. Thats why I call mine a FXDWTFIN (What the F Is Next).

Well at least you're not in denial ... I think a lot of people that are new to Harleys jump straight into the sportster pool without getting a taste of what else Harley offers, thus the market is flooded with used sportys. Not that I would ever get rid of my WG, but you got me thinking... might just have to test out a switchback myself to see what all the talk is about. I don't think you could go wrong with either bike. If you really wanted the street bob I think I would opt for the 2013 with the 103ci.

Find yourself a 2012. At my dealer they have a 2012 Dyna Superglide Custom with 5 miles on it for $13,334.
