Great start to the day....
Bike would not start this morning. I have an 01 FXDXT. When I turned the key on I noticed that only the left gauge lit up, the right gauge did not. Also none of the indicators lit up and the bike would not crank. I turned the key off and turned it back on and I got them to come on so I tried again and this time they did not. I did not want to risk taking it to work and having it die on me on the highway so I opted to taking my truck. To me it sounds like I need an ignition switch and I do plan on diagnosing it properly after work but I wanted to post and see if anyone else has ever had this problem and if anyone had any ideas. Yeah thats what I was thinking, after messing with it for 5 minutes it would only work in ACC, even when turned all the way on. I would have spent more time on it but time was already short and I needed to get to work

Had a chance after work last night to look at the bike last night. Had no power coming out of the switch when turned on, only on the ACC circuit and starter circuit. I will be going to the dealer today to get myself a new switch
