I guess he feels that if he is a sponsor here he has the right to trash anything that he feels is competition. Honestly, he would have been better off responding with reasons why his product is better. Maybe this is indicative of his customer service? Whatever the reason I would be real hesitant to purchase anything from this clown.

After changing from a mid glide to wide glide front end I fitted the progressive drop in springs, result was much better than stock springs & really stiffened up the front end, but unfortunately the roads round here are a nightmare, ride is great on the main A roads & motorways but thinking the cartridge kits would make the difference on the local roads round here, I'm certainly no expert when it comes to things like suspension but thinking maybe better dampening units would be better, but still want to maintain a stiff front end, if that's possible.
Got Hagon nitros on the rear, which are great & can adjust the preload & dampening. So really trying to mirror this with the front end. ( oops maybe i shouldn't be mentioning Hagons on here either !)
In all seriousness I am a big fan of straight rate springs and either Racetech gold valves or Ricor intimidators. The Ricors are easier to install. And use the recommended oil weight. Some tend to want to use thicker oil than recommended and end up with a bad ride because the suspension action becomes too slow and it can't follow the road.
They are no where the same as an Ohlins 30mm kit. I was putting them in XR1200 LA model single sided forks and I only did one of them for obvious reasons. That company is an Ohlins dealer in Italy that produces their own products. When you say the same, know what you are talking about and what application you are referring to. I have not used them in a Dyna nor contacted them for their new offerings.
When you are putting KEY Words for search on the internet it would be good if you paid for the privilege as all sponsors here have done for advertising.
i will never buy from you , hope thats what you wanted

i have only tried progressive on front , whats different about straight rate ?
The progressive wound coil has two shortcomings. One is that with limited suspension travel the soft part of the coil gets used up real quick leaving the stiffer part of the coil to handle the suspension duties. This usually results in a harsh ride. The othe shortcoming is that it becomes difficult to tune the damper because the spring rate is constantly changing.
