I was thinking about that Craftsman jack...didnt know that it needed special dyna adapters. Are those sold at sears as well or did you make your own at home?
You do not need special adapters if you mod the jack to fit the bike.
I use one of these little no name floor jacks with a strategicaly place piece of wood under the bike, and my harbor freight wheel chock. I use straps to tie the front end to the wheel chock as a safety precaution.
I recently had my rear wheel off for about 2 weeks and it held with no problem, even with my kids in and out of the garage with their bicycles and all.
I use a cheap motorcycle lift from harbor freight with some ratchet straps. Sometimes I wish I had the jack adaptors to make it level! I'll get around to making some one day.
