Sorry man! Spend about 6 hours in a day on the stock seat, and you'd change it out too!
It's all good. Enjoy the ride! We all have are own likes and dislikes. For comfort, I say yes on the seat for looks, I say no. I also like Z Bars, but I like them on a Peanut Tank.

I agree...the seat is ugly...that was my first thought when I put it on, but after a 6 hour ride one day, I realized it was perfect. As for the bars, I like the way they look on the forty-eight's and other bikes with peanut tanks, but I thought it would go really well with my bike, and I'm pleased with the look. I think it might even look a little cooler with a set of 4 inch curved risers.

I am sorry for my comment and you should be happy with your ride. I think a set of 4 inch risers would look cool also.
I just bought a 2012 Honda NC700X just for the 70 + mpg it gets and the false gas tank that holds 11 gallons of storage space. The 3.7 gallon gas tank is located under the rider seat with the filler neck located under the passenger pillion seat. This THING is, it is butt ugly!! I have had it for over a month now and it only has 40 miles on it. It is just not me!! My girl can't ride it, It sits too tall! I am 6' and I tip toe when moving it around in a parking lot. I do not know what I was thinking the day I bought it. Must of been the gas prices going up. I am planning on riding the X through the mountains of Western NC. HD forever!!! Long live the King Of The Road!!
I am going to sell the X when I am done exploring the mountains of Western NC. I will ride the FXSTS for two up and I am going purchase the 2014 FXDB for solo riding.
