Default Help!!!

Guys I need some help here. Just built my stage IV 103 kit and after built I took it to my local HD shop to get tuned. Well to make a long story short the rear cylinder o2 sensor is acting up. It's been replaced, but that didn't fix it. The problem is the sensor will not drop below 3 volts. It will though after you put a little back pressure on the exhaust. I'm currently running some V&H short shots, which I would think wouldn't affect the o2 sensor? Before I go dump some cash on some new exhaust I need to make sure this is the fix. Anyone have any ideas why my o2 sensor would be acting up???

New exhaust is not gonna fix it but I would change them solely on the fact that shortshots rob hp&tq. Sounds like a possible tuning issue. What tuning module are you using.

I would have suggested that you put a baffle in the short shots...this has been a solution before for other issues...but looks like you already pulled the trigger on a better exhaust. The shortshots are like running open headers on a car. Sound good...but the performance sucks.

That sounds like your answer, especially if as you say adding back pressure allows it to function properly.
Get some decent baffles, that is what they do

Yea in the short shots I was running the big city baffles, but they were pretty much a tube with a washer welded in the middle. I'm hoping these 2 into ones work. I'll find out tomorrow, will keep you all posted...
