Good morning everyone. I have an 05 Dyna Super Glide with the front turn signals relocated to the front forks. However last summer I picked up a quick attach windshield and the lights had to be moved to the lowest part of the fork by the shocks. I would like to move them back up but the windshield brackets wont allow it.
So I have been looking for other options out there for smaller ones and maybe putting them back on the bars.
Can someone please post up some pics of what they have done. There was one posted the other day of marker lights on them.
However when I was looking at marker lights on J&P Cycles catalog it says not to use them as replacements for signals and I am concerned about wiring and them working as a signal. I am wanting to keep halogen for now as not to have to deal with load equalizers.
Thank you.
When I change my bars I want to get rid of the stock turn signals on my Bob all together. Custom Dynamics (site sponsor) is near my house and I plan to piece together some sort of LED strips to operate as hidden turn signals. I think the load equalizers for the small strips aren't very large, but that will be a consideration come project time.
I would love to get rid of mine as well now, but working for/with the police departments probably isnt the wisest choice I could make. I am still researching options.
I spent a couple hours early this am searching the site looking for other ideas and either couldnt narrow my search enough or just couldnt find what I was looking for.
I have thought about that. I have read the thread listed on here as well on that. There are as I can see issues with this about the wiring and them working without an equalizer. But that was by far my first option.
