Default Gauntlet Fairing

This fairing is listed for Sportsters only. The FXD uses the same forks I believe. Does anyone see any reason why this may not work on a 39mm FXD?

Same forks, but same triple trees? Go measure a Sporty and compare to yer scoot. Nice fairing, looked at it the other day and was bummed don't have for the Dyna.

I'm sure it will fit. It may just need a little hillbilly engineering. I mean, you'll never find any two ness fairings mounted the same way.

That is pretty sick, kind of a more stylized HD fairing. Nice mix of the Ness and HD.

It looks small. Compared to the HD 1/4, or Ness fairing. I'd like to see one in person. looks like it runs about $300 when you buy the mounting brackets

I've got 1 on my 93 FXR. If you have 39mm forks, it'll work.

I didn't feel like rigging it up, so I went with the HD one for $318. Already had the mounts for the shield.

$318.95

Way high, but couldn't find one off eBay.

Linkage

I believe there to be a width difference between most sporty narrow glides vs mid glide dynas.
