Default Seat Install Question

I have 2 seats I have been changing back and forth just wondering does everyone keep those rubber bumpers on there fenders that were there from the factory, seems like that keeps my 2 up seats from sitting all the way down flush?

thanks!

The bumpers are to protect the the paint on the fender. Without em the seat would rub the paint off.
