Anyone running a spring seat on a wide glide? I would love to see how it looks. Is it possible to still have a passenger seat that i can put on and off?
It is the seat (pan) from a crossbones, same as the old style of the 40's...
It is like two hands cupping your cheecks........I rode it from Louisiana to New Jersey and back, never got num-butt once.
I can travel all dayl ong with total comfort..........
I put a spring seat on my SB. First opinion was that it was way harder than stock solo. But after riding ~500 miles on it. Def feels better. I only took it off to put lower hairpin springs on it as I felt the 3" springs that came with it pushed me too far forward. I went with the 2" hairpins just waiting to coat them black before installing.
