Well I just did it...all 4 ends bent down to about 1/8-1/4" from outer wall.I did notice a bit more get up and go down low for sure, but hated what it did to the sound of the pipe. And even more importantly it seemed to choke the upper end which is what I was worried about. It Didnt spool up as fast as it used to. Needles to say I turned right back around and headed to my garage to bend them back out.If I want more power,I'll wait till I shove a 98" kit on her...till then I guess I'll take her like she is.I wasn't able to bend them out exactly where they were, but I got pretty close anyways.

That's why I only bend 3. Fixes the bottom end flat spot and loses nothing up top. The sound difference is minimal too. I've never tried just 2. I'm going to try all variations with the new motor this winter.
I think I will pass on beating the baffle into submission on my Thunderheader, Kinda looks like a hack way of doing the job. The guy doesnt mention that after he beat the baffles outward, he then drilled a hole in each one.

One dyno guy I talked to verified this claim. I, however, did not choose to do this on my bike. Performance and sound are good enough for me. Nothing sounds like a TH, and I didn't want to ruin it.
Bending the tabs actually restricts the pipe. That's where the torque gain comes from.
I watched the video again... the baffle sides are flat and form a square, then when he is done, the sides are bend INWARD not out. Seems everyone is going the opposite way of this video?
Yes you're supposed to bend them OUT towards the wall of the pipe. Maybe within 1/4" or so of the side. Like I said I always bend 3. This is what I learned years ago in a tuning class and it has always worked for me. On a bike with some motor behind it the sound changes very little. It might make it too mellow on a lethargic stock motor, never tried. But then again I don't think anything sounds good on a stock motor.
