Wiley X "Blinks" with the light adjusting lenses. They will also make prescription lenses for those that need them. They have foam snap-in inserts that make them more like goggles for riding if needed.
I use Panoptics googles which have the foam padding to keep the air out. I wear prescription glasses and was able to get the Panoptics with my prescription and with a day and night lense. They're nice googles but a little pricey!
I wear the profile goggle from HD. They convert to a sunglass or goggle. Have clear and smoke lens or they also have lens that change with light conditions. Cost about $100. They work great.
sunglasses, never ones that cost more than $20 though. Last $75 pair I owned went flying off my head, I was able to watch them float gracefully off of the high bridge in Duluth MN then down to icy old Superior. Damn updraft on the bridge.
i have the panoptics, you dont have to change the lenses when going from day to night. I think I paid $200 for them. Well worth it, and they dont fog up at all.
i have a harley brand 3/4 helmet withthe flip up face shield. nothing like a shield to stop wind/bugs/rain/rocks etc... then on a hot day,or slow traffic,i jus treach up and flip it up .been wearing this style for many years .
Look on the second page. I use model 1589 for Jetskiing and Kiteboarding. They are polorized and the adjust strap works great so I figured they would work good for my bike. for 29.99 you can get 3 different styles and if they fall off Oh well. I usually spend big money on shades but on a jetski they seem to disappear when you eat it same with Kiteboarding.
Thanks everyone for the great suggestions - been looking for something with real good quality, decent style, and not way expensive - after reading the suggestions above in this thread, I looked for Wiley X goggles last night and found that Wiley is dumping a few discontinued brand new in the box SG-1 pairs at 50-70% off in their eBay store (wileyxtreme). Two lens sets for $45-$47 with dual temple/straps (so can be converted between sunglasses and goggles easily), and 3 lens sets (or 2 lens polarized sets) for $66. Shipping reasonable at $6 not like some vendors selling the exact same stuff for $100 or more plus $15 shipping!
Just thought those of you looking to buy some Wiley Xs might like to know what I came up with. Limited number available thru Wiley so not sure how long they'll last. I got the SG-1 three lens set with the lunar blue (discontinued color, red also available), smoke green and clear lenses.
