Tourpak now installed, FL-Dyna project coming along
Today i installed my tourpak, it is quick detach, Wifey will be quite happy but will not run when solo, as it does ad weight to the bike as does the detach fairing.
What does your wife think of it? Has she gone for a ride with the TourPack?
Also, I just noticed your black cylinder jugs. That is what I want. It is too hard to remove the black from the rest of the engine so I may just paint the rest silver and add black to the diamond cut on my jugs.
Watch out for the sun reflection off those huge chrome speakers!

Wifey has not tried yet, raining today and cold, i did see in the new 2013 HD goodies catalog they have the silver/ blonde spray paint, i was going for that old shovel look with the barrels black. As for the speaker grills they are silver, but this winter i want to paint them gun metal black as they stand out like a sore thumb
Fred, that is one nice looking Dyna you got there! Do you have more photos?
Robterra39, gotta love the direction you are going.
My wife loves my FB now and there are more upgrades coming. The best upgrade in her opinion was the new Saddlemen seat. We can do 200-300 mile rides with no issues now.

Yep, actually cheaper to do than you think. I bought all the glass parts used and the windscreen on ebay. The Cyclevision mount was reasonable. It is all the electronics that cost $.
Definately get the looks and thumbs up wherever I go. Amazing how many people know the difference. Before I put the bags on I even had one guy ask me what happened to my oil tank...then embarassed he realized it was a Fat Bob not a Road Glide.

Looking good Robtarra, how many cases of beer can you fit in that thing? LOL
Is that the reckless fairing? mine came with those ugly silver speaker grilles too, they got painted black before it even went on the bike.
I think 1 case LOL, the fairing ,no it's not reckless although i should have, some cheap knock off from texas, my only issue with this fairing is the top section shakes like hell when lugging the motor or when engine shakes.already blew one deck due to the shakes, will be reinfocing with fiberglass this winter.

My batwing shakes pretty good at idle, more when the engine is cold, and also at some speed/rpm combination when decelerating. However I don't notice any shaking when the batwing is off.
That's not encouraging about your deck, now I'm nervous about mine going out.
