Never named a bike either, but I do say "that's my baby". She gets a pat on the tank now and then also when I'm cruising down the highway with a big a$$ grin on my face.

I'm going to name mine B*tch..So when I'm riding my wife can tell my friends, "He's out with his B*tch." Some how I don't think it's going to play out like it does in my mind.

My bike is "Lucy". I've named almost every vehicle I've ever owned.

I have several.............. I usually refer to it as my "bicycle" when I am talking to non-riders,seems to impress folks that I can ride a bicycle 400-500 miles in a day.

The doctor said it would be a good idea to take up "cycling" for my health......... So I figured "riding", "cycling"...... what's the difference?? I guess it does cost more to ride than it does to cycle, though.

I also refer her as my "girl friend"......... takes all my money, but lets me ride her all I want.

Then, there are those other not so loving names, we all probably call our Harleys, when things ain't going so great.

The more more specific names I refer to her asare B!tch, and Black Beauty.

Since January her name is more like Cold Black Beautiful B!tch.
