will xied,s be sufficent for slip ons and a se heavy breather kit on a 2008 fat bob. dont wanna break the bank with a tuner and have no intention of doing a bunch of mods to bike
i have a stock set up now except for ccle shack slip ons and pulled the plugs to put in new screamin eagle plgs and the plugs i pulled were light colored. dam thats lean from the factory. ideal would be a chocolate color. kinda scares me how lean it runs
i got cycle shack slip ons and didnt notice any change with plugs, put xieds on and bike runs smoother at low speed, traffic conditions, still no change in plugs

Yes, you will be pleasantly surprised how much better your bike will run.
i have no cat in pipes since its an 08. is there any downside to xied,s. is it a simple install. so far nothing negative on thread but there is always a downside. any and all info appreciated since im definitively gonna have to do something about the lean condition. there is no popping on decel either. also is there a diffrence in vied vs. xied vs. x14ied. i noticed different models on website

I ran XEID's for the furst 6 months of my stage one...great product for the money.
The downside? It ain't a tuner, your bike could run a helluva lot better. I'm not just talking about horsepower, but the general cruisability of the bike.
good info. thats what im gonna do. spend the 99 bucks for now then next year get a good tuner. man these things run lean. no wonder there is some serious heat comin off harley davidsons. I know they're air cooled but even my old air cooled jap bikes back in the 70s didnt run that hot. All i know is that white plugs are not good and they should always be a light brown color. dont care what bike u own

For your set-up the XiED is best. It is a little richer than both the X14 and the ViED.
