He is not fat, walks 3 miles a day. Stay fit and active and you may not lose it.
In the original post I had stated that I thought I had a good ten years left. That would put me at 66. I just don't see to many people around here riding past 70.

I'm 58 and have been riding since I was 16. I figure I have at least another 30 years in me :-)

Last month at the state HOG rally there was a guy there that just turned 93. He and his wife had beed married for over 60 years. He started riding in 1943, and the first bike he ever rode was a 1933 HD. Today he still rides but has a custom softail with side car. His wife told us the highlight of his week was to go over to the old folks home and give the little old ladies rides in the side car.

So I'm not giving up riding for at least the next 40 years

Been riding since I was 16 and I'm 56 now. I was finding it hard going as I was approx 350 lbs, but in the last year I've lost some 126 lbs and I am finding a whole new lease of riding life and fitness. I now intend to ride until either I can't afford it or my doctor bans me!

Seems like backwards logic! If you only have 14 yrs left, ride MORE!
