I'm digging the 23" also. I always thought it might look really out of place on a Dyna but it looks great. Well, my 21" and 18 should be here soon so we will see how it looks in comparison. I cannaot say what wheels I am getting but I think the 21 and 18 will make a nice difference over stock. I am curious to see how it feel in comparison to the stock sizes. How does your bike handle?
Well the handling at first was a little bit "new" but it felt right after a few minutes. I also have the feeling that on the highway there is no more "tumbling". The bikes just go straight and really I have a comfortable ridin' :-)
The airshocks actually are from Arnott. That also might interest some of you...
...Arnott Air shocks (if you would call them they won't agree with you)...are almost ALL the same BUT:
1. They two different kinds of shocks!
2. You have to make sure which hight you want (mines are the 12")
That means that, if the system ones is up (inflated) it measure 12".Deflated it is around 9.75"
There is also another version which measure 13". This system might be better if you want to have a lot of travel height (long rides with passengers and for BIG riders absolutely recomendable....) I'm about 5.9 and my weight is 180 lb and my girl and I we really enjoy the lon rides (last sunday we made around 500km / 310 miles, just a trip for a day) and it is really relaxing the riding!
Sure that there are more factors involves like the (seat - hahaha...I think here I will try the Airhawk), handlebars position ect.
But for the arnott airride....it is a cheap system (have a look at Ebay)
The mounting wholes are all the same! For the position for the aircompressor I choosed it right behind the right forward control.
Maybe this afternoon I will post a lil picture of it to give you an idea how I installed it.
saludos.
