Thumbs down o2 sensor. oops

just removed the stock exhaust system off my 06 low rider to make way for my new samson street sweepers. problem is, on the rear o2 sensor the wires pulled out of wherever they go and i have no idea where to plug them back in. (it looks like the 2 wires should just stick back in a socket).. please help.

also is it possible to run without o2 sensors, i see a lot of aftermarket pipes come with plugs for the pre drilled holes. what is the process to delete them? or is it even worth it really.

Can you post a pic?
i believe you just need to (carefully) push the wires back in the socket.
On running without them, I wouldn't.
However my Cobra autotune doesn't require them but I don't have a problem so I use them.
if your using the stock ECM then you do need to hook them back up.

Pull you're seat off and you should see the connector it plugs into. After ya screw the sensors into the new pipes and get them mounted, you can plug them back in. They are part of the semi -closed loop system the ecu is equipped with.

Get a Power Commander III from FuelMoto and you can run without the O2 sensors.

yep as stated above, check under the seat! get a tuner and you can get rid of the o2 sensors if not you need them!

thanks guys, i found it under the seat shortly after posting the thread.

as far as getting rid of the o2 sensors its not a big deal, more of a curiosity than anything. im debating whether or not to get a fuel programmer still or just get the bike tuned once i get everything on it.

thanks for the help
