That 3 degrees would probably be the max, I'm guessing. It's why Harley takes a 34 degree neck and mates it to a 2 degree triple tree to get that 36 degrees overall and still end up with a good handling bike.

Good Luck on your project..

So 3DEG would be the max rake you would do?

How will the bike handle after that? Definitely don't want to ruin it with a crappy handling bike.

Can I ask you guys what the difference would be in

Replacing the entire triple trees them selfs

Or

Installing rake fork cups?

I'm getting a bunch of different set ups when looking this up.

3 degrees would make it closer to the handling of a Wide Glide: More stable at speed, but a little heavier at slow maneuvers.

Go read up on Rake and Trail articles.

I forgot that I have wider trees than the street bob. I need fat bob trees and I think you will need spacers to run your existing wheel hub with wide glide/fat bob trees.

Don't the Harley Trike trees accomplish this too?

I'm going to look for 3 DEG rake trees for a simple bolt in install.

I just have to find the right set that will fit my bike.

Then when the front end gets lowered, ill be asking what's the best way to lower the rear of the bike
