Tape off all the holes except for the one near the grip and the one at the bottom of the riser that the wire comes out of. Then put a string in the hole by the grip and use a shopvac to suck it out the bottom hole. Repeat this on the other side. You then tape these two strings to the wires at the hole by the grips and pull the strings out the bottom holes.

This is after you have used a paper clip or dental pick to disassemble the plugs.

Also, stagger them just like Newark said

I recommend going to the local home improvement store and pick up some wire pull lube such as Clearlube which is a Silicone lube which helps the wire glide through and around tight corners and bends.

When installing my Burlys I had a friend hold one end of the bars and I fed the other. Didn't us any lube. Just taped the ends of the wire with some electrical tape so they stay together and very slowly fed them through.

Vaseline might be real oily. Not sure how easy it will be to clean off that black cover after you feed it , but if you think it will clean off well I don't see any reason not to try it. It's slick, so it might do the trick.

I took some of my daughter's nail polish and made different colored marks on the connectors for reference, then took ALOT of pics with my digital camera so I could remember where the wires went in the connectors. I also drew a schematic. I moved my turn sigmals to the forks at the same time, so I didn't have as many wires to pull through. I tied a string to a nut then just manipulated the bars so the nut and string came out the other end (it was really easy). Then I just taped the string to the wires and pulled them through, I used some silicone spray lube first. The biggest pain for me was reassembling the molex connectors, the wires have to go in just right and can sometimes be a bit stubborn. If you search "molex connectors" you can find good videos on taking them apart. Good luck, I love my street slammers!
